News Coverage

I believe that many journalists go too far with their interpretation of stories. Instead of telling the world precisely what has happened in the news, they seem to blow a lot out of proportion just to gain attention. Of course journalists want attention and they want to see their stories gain more coverage than the next station they are competing against, but they need to stop feeding the world lies. No one wants the news to be filled with beautiful kind-hearted stories but it would be nice to hear one once in a while as opposed to being forced to listen to them talk over and over again about a murderer thus giving them the exposure and attention they asked for. The news tries to pull it's viewers in by showing and stating gory details that not everyone wants to hear, they will tell stories over and over again and a week later will still be saying the same thing. I would prefer if Journalists said the story once and that was it, just say it one time, everyone will hear and it will be fine but instead they try to get as much coverage and viewers on the same story over and over again.
