The Internet is always changing and evolving and the world is constantly trying to catch up. It's hard to criticize something that almost everyone it seems, uses every single day for hours on end but there are a few faults with the internet. 10 years ago the amount of people worldwide using the internet was less than 24% of what it is today, evidently the world today is relying more on the internet than ever before.
The things that I find most negative about the Internet is the case of online bullying and that people have the power to be anonymously victimizing people over the web. Also, when I was younger I played outdoors and ran around and played with my friends and hadn't even heard of Facebook or social networking sites and I feel as though these days children are given access to the internet younger than the age of 10 and I think this is taking away a child's adolescence.
I do however find things positive with the internet such as the Free Rice website where with every question you get right 10 grains of rice are donated through the world food program to help end world hunger. People are able to contact their friends and family on social networks and people have been reunited with loved ones all over the world. The Internet is also an easier way to research topics as opposed to searching for books.
As far as anyone is concerned the Internet is staying put, it isn't going anywhere so you can find the positive of it or you can get off it and enjoy life without the distraction of the web!
