Haters Gonna Hate

Obviously the internet has changed the world. That's a given. Where would we be these days without the internet. It really does control our lives whether we believe it has or not. If you think not; it will soon enough. There are positives and negatives but overall, I believe that there are more positives than negatives. And i'm here to tell you why.

One of the many positives of the internet being a part of our lives is the fact we can do everything we want on it. Our banking, social networking, skyping, buying tickets, getting our affairs in order and so much more. This is all simply done in a few clicks rather than having to actually be at a certain place at a certain time. Some may call this laziness but i'm sure you'd rather get your affairs in order within a few minutes than actually taking a chunk out of your day and committing time to a specific task at hand.

Another reason that the internet has changed the world is because simply, it is fun. We can play games, talk to people, listen to music and watch movies and videos all in the comfort of your own home. That in itself should stand alone as a primary reason as a positive aspect of the internet changing for the better.

The internet is also changing for the better as the internet is the new grounds for finding new talent. Gone are the days of X Factor and Australian Idol - It's all about finding stars on the internet. For example: Justin Bieber simply started puting YouTube videos of himself on the internet and within 6 months he was signed to a major record label and the rest as they say is history. He is now one of the biggest stars on the planet and at the age of 18 has already broken many world records and according to the Guiness World Records; has even surprassed Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley as the number one male recording artist to ever exist on the planet.

I guess the only negative aspect that comes to mind is that the majority of us have/has had a social networking site. The downside of this is the fact that our anonymity is completely gone and whatever we have written and said and put up is free for anybody to judge and for anybody to see. But i dont necessarily see this as a bad thing. If we forget that everything is public I don't think we should care. Blogs are much more interesting to read when they're not filtered I like when people actually can be heard and state their opinions freely even though i'm sure they know they're open to be scrutinized. So i leave you with this...

So what if people judge us.
Haters gon' hate.
It's freedom of speech.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
YOLO.

Yeah I think the same, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
And who cares what people think? As long as they can't find your address and hack you up into little pieces, what's to worry about? Lol. Again, well said Rhys!
