"clicking era"

Man, through the ages, has undergone many changes from the time when he depicted a herd of mammoths in the cave to these days when he can chat with someone on the other side of the globe. Internet is rapidly changing the world's living standards that result in creating a single world culture.

Just pick a right mouse in the world of mice, you can get nearly everything with one click or "double click". How crazy that is.

Indeed, we are using the Internet more intensively, going online more often for a much wider range of reasons. It is not just an entertainment tool but an essential part of everyday lives, providing access to critical information and services. We now use the Internet for communications, research, information, banking and finance, just to name a few. Additionally, we need to mention the social media which has profoundly change our lives. People would have to use social media to alter their mood,  forget their problems, spread the information, get in touch with the long lost friend or make new friends (it is, some how, easier than ever to discover people who share our interest through "like" button). I must admitted, facebooking has become an unconscious habit. Internet has worked in an incredible way, sometimes, I can't believe with few hours, the information such as Kony campaign, Channel 7 incident or recently music video Gangnam style, etc being shared by million, million people.

The Internet powerfully enables the spread of good ideas, but it works the same magic for bad ones and it allows distortions of fact and opinion. Topics like torture, crime, recreational drug use, and wealth inequality can provoke outrage and misunderstanding in many audiences. People's security and privacy are often violated. Children got the easy access to the information they are not supposed to read. The problem, however, is that there is no effective way to respond yet.
