All work and No play

"If you are jealous of those with more money, do not just sit there and complain - do something to make more money yourself" - Gina Rinehart

When i first read this quote from an article we were given links to, i couldnt help but laugh! Is Gina for real?! I honestly do not know where Gina gets off saying to ordinary Australians such as you and I that we should get off our butts and go make our lives better with zillions of $$$$ when she inherited all her millions!! She clearly didnt get off her rear end and work for it! No, she was handed it on a silver platter.

In the same article she is quoted "spend less time drinking, or smoking and socialising, and more time working". My weekly schedule consists of the following, Tuesday/ Thursday/ Friday- tafe and study and i work Wednesday/ Saturday and Sundays leaving only Mondays as my day off. Add on top the fact that i  live in southwest sydney and travel an hour to and from both my house and wollongong- to study and my house to the city (sydney)- to work, by the time it comes to sunday night, im lights out! Now im not saying this to get any sympathy whatsoever but, if Gina thinks that average Australians like myself aren't working hard to make a better living for ourselves, i obviously dont know what the words 'hard working' mean.

Yeah i still go out and socialise and drink but im happy with the way i live. And yeah okay i wish i had more money but doesnt everyone? Just because Ginas dirty rich and has nothing else better to do with her life than complain that us "poor Australians" are jealous of the rich and famous, the only thing im jealous of hunny is your hat in the above picture! Want to make a real difference Gina? Get off your high horse and do some good like donating money to cancer research instead of bagging out hard working Australians.

And if billionaires like yourself are the ones who are doing more than anyone to help 'the poor' by investing their money and creating jobs, like its such a burden, then Gina you do all the hard work for once and see how it feels. If only you actually knew how us ordinary Australians had it then maybe you wouldnt be complaining in a magazine.
In the end, money doesnt equal happiness. But Gina you wouldnt know that would you, because money is all you've ever known.
